Data Scientist (NLP/LLM expert)

We are SUMM AI and our vision is to make information accessible and easy to understand for everyone!

That’s why we’re building “Google Translate” for easy language – an AI-based tool that converts any complex text into easy-to-understand language at the touch of a button!

We are a team of 3 founders and 17 employees who have enjoyed a steep growth journey within the Munich startup ecosystem! Following our recent, very successful funding round, we are now bringing on board motivated, new team members in various areas to scale our company and our impact! Are you in?

Tasks:

You will work directly with Nicholas, our CTO & co-founder, and take responsibility for your own work areas in a data scientist role. 🤝

This includes, for example:

• Model development and fine-tuning of state-of-the-art models 🛠️
• Follow current developments in the NLP / LLM / CV area and make proactive suggestions for integrating new technologies 📈
• Evaluation of the models
• Professionalize MLOps Pipeline 🧑‍💻

qualification:

You have the following qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience in Python (bonus for Django experience) ⌨️
• At least 3 years of experience with NLP tools and frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow 🤖
• Experience transferring the latest AI research (papers) into practical applications 📚➡️🛠️
• Experience in training smaller models and fine-tuning LLMs 🧠
• Experience in the entire MLOps pipeline from design to evaluation of the models 🛠️➡️
• Excellent communication skills to communicate your aspirations clearly 💬
