The Role:

As a Senior Product Manager for Podium Phones, you will play a crucial role in transforming Podium Phones from a feature loved by many customers into an integral part of Podium’s platform for the majority of customers. You will achieve this growth by continuously enhancing the product, incorporating Podium “AI Employees”, and driving organizational alignment. This requires a GM mindset to ensure the Phones product is marketed, sold, implemented, and supported effectively across the company. You will become an expert in VOIP if you aren’t already and leverage product data to answer questions and uncover valuable insights, while leaving a positive impression on customers and stakeholders alike.

Job Responsibilities:

• Drive Product Vision and Roadmap: Evolve and articulate the product vision and roadmap as the product matures and as the organization’s direction continues to be refined.
• Engineering Collaboration: Partner with engineering teams to ensure technical feasibility, successful implementation, and high-quality product releases.
• Design Collaboration: Work closely with design teams to ensure a seamless user experience, integrating design insights into product development and enhancements.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with marketing, sales, implementation, and support teams to ensure the Phones product is successful. You will be expected to have influence across the business.
• Executive Collaboration: Present product updates and strategies to executives, ensuring alignment and support. Work closely and negotiate with company leaders to solve problems.
• AI Integration: Collaborate with the AI team to develop and implement “AI Employees” capable of interacting over the phone, enhancing the efficiency and lead conversion capabilities of the Podium platform.
• Product Marketing: Generate content to promote the Phones product and features to Podium customers.
• Data-Driven Decisions: Become deeply familiar with all product-related data, using it to answer questions and uncover insights that impact the product roadmap and operations.
• Customer Interaction: Engage with customers of all sizes to gather feedback and identify insights that influence the product direction.
• Team Leadership: Level up the Podium Product Team by mentoring and guiding team members.

About You:

• 5+ years of product management experience
• Experience with VOIP, telephony, or other voice-based communication or a sufficiently technical background to become expert in these technologies quickly.
• Proven ability to drive growth by influencing various teams within the organization.
• Passionate about AI and its potential to transform local businesses, particularly through the integration of AI-driven communication tools.
• Comfortable with data analysis in SQL and data visualization tools. Able to quickly answer questions and discover valuable insights.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proven experience in building detailed product requirements documents.
• Thrive in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
• Entrepreneurial attitude with a bias towards ownership and impact.
