Software Engineer – AI / ML – Job Description

As Software Engineer – AI/ML, in Blueshift, you have the unique techno-functional role to apply your Data Engineering, Data Science, Analysis, and Customer Engagement skills. You will be using state of the art predictive scoring models and recommendation engines to build and enable advanced AI capabilities for our customers across the globe and help them realize the full potential of AI driven marketing.

Responsibilities:

• Design the optimal AI solutions for our global customers to power their strategic marketing initiatives.
• Develop and implement customized AI engineering solutions, which include scoring models, recommendation schemes, data insights etc, using industry leading platforms and products.
• Own end-to-end delivery of assigned custom AI solutions projects, which include customer engagement, solution design, development, testing and implementation.
• Analyze usage and logs data to troubleshoot and address production issues related to AI enabled marketing solutions.
• Provide creative AI solutions to simplify, automate, and optimize marketing campaign ideas of our customers and document outcomes.
• Work with the AI Infrastructure team to optimize, develop, test and debug supporting data pipelines and distributed systems.
• Work on POCs related to various AI experiments and benchmark results.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of industry experience in Software Engineering, enabling data driven solutions.
• At least 1 year of experience directly working with customers, delivering technical solutions.
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills and ability to interact with global customers effectively.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and also collaborate with the larger team to ensure timely delivery.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks accordingly.
• Demonstrated ability to perform complex data analysis using large data sets in big data platforms.
• Proven programming skills in SQL, and scripting languages like Python, Ruby, Spark, Scala, etc.
• Ability and appetite to learn at a fast pace and develop effective solutions.

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of modern machine learning algorithms and frameworks.
• Prior experience working on large scale data sets and cloud computing.
• Experience in AWS Data Platforms, Jenkins, Docker, and Data Visualization tools.
