AI and Cybersecurity Internship

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and talented intern to join our team in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Information Security (Infosec). This intern will learn about the development and implementation of cutting-edge AI solutions during the AI period and support our Infosec initiatives during the Infosec period. This is an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in these intersecting fields within the clinical research industry.

Duration and Location:

This is a full-time summer internship position, with a duration of 12 weeks, starting May 20th. The internship will be located in Durham, NC.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in researching AI algorithms and models.
• Assisting in the preparation of reports and presentations on Infosec and AI initiatives.
• Collaborate with the team to learn about potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
• Support the testing and evaluation of AI-driven solutions.
• Contribute to the documentation and presentation of project findings and outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field; graduating in 2025 or 2024 or recent graduates (December 2023).
• Strong interest in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and cybersecurity.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
