Job Description:

Purpose of the job:

Working closely with the COO, Head of Transformation and CIO, the candidate manage end to end delivery of AIA (Artificial Intelligence and Automation) project prototyping from inception to pilot.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To be responsible for defining and scoping AIA projects to pilot phase, including developing and documenting the Ocorian ways of working
  • To work with the prototype group to complete the requirements gathering and specification
  • To complete the design of the prototype project
  • To review feedback on the effectiveness of the automation and recommend any changes before a potential pilot phase
  • To work with the Head of Transformation to review the organisational impact of the automation on the grade mix, location and capabilities required to complete the newly automated process and the KPI’s and business case for making a change
  • To work with the IT technical design team and change board to ensure the prototype is built to meet specification and in line with Ocorian architecture and standards
  • To identify and document requirements to support the solution at scale
  • To plan the implementation of the pilot at scale in the event of success at prototype and pilot stage
  • To prepare communication decks to explain the benefits of the AIA solution and to support change management
  • To manage delivery against IT team and Ocorian standards and assist in their further development
  • To manage external suppliers and ensure that business continuity and security plans are embedded in every solution

Qualifications:

  • Educated to degree level
  • A professional qualification such as CIMA, ACA is preferred
  • Project management qualifications are desirable

Knowledge/Skills/Experience:

  • 10 years’ experience in a technical role of which 5 years in a management role
  • Experience of managing/supervising staff and suppliers.
  • Experience of a multi-site, multi-country environment and management

Competencies:

  • Experience in transformation and change (10 years)
  • Knowledge of agile project management and project management of AIA projects from design to prototype and pilot through to at scale deployment
  • Experience in business analysis to develop solutions
  • Good communication / interpersonal skills.
  • Strong manager, team leader and team member.
  • Commercial awareness
  • Practical, analytical and ordered approach to problem resolution.
  • Understands the enabling role of AIA in transformation
  • Sensitivity to different cultures and ways of working
