AI Data Governance Manager

As a Data Governance Manager at Co-op, we’ll look to you to implement and deliver the data governance strategy and policies across the wider business. What you’ll do:

  • Provide Data Governance assurance and guidance for technology (including Artificial Intelligence)
  • Help to define and deliver the data governance strategy, policies, and standards across Co-op
  • Collaborate with our Senior Data Governance Manager to define data roadmaps and plans
  • Support our Data Governance Analysts to make sure tasks and projects are delivered successfully
  • Support projects across Co-op to make sure the right data controls are in place
  • Work alongside our data owners to help them define and commit to data availability, security improvements, and ethical standards

This role would suit people who have:

  • Previous data governance management experience
  • A background (or keen interest) in AI and how this can be used to support data governance
  • Experience applying data governance principles and supporting data ownership frameworks
  • Previous experience of writing data governance policies, guidance, standards, and implementation tools
  • Good communication and relationship building skills, with the ability to influence and challenge people inclusively
