Role:

Join us as a pivotal AI Engineer at Ceartas, directly reporting to the CTO. This role merges innovation, technical skill, and strategic execution, empowering you to:

• Lead AI-Driven Brand Protection Initiatives: Beyond strategy formulation, you actively craft our approach. From developing AI models for detecting copyright infringements and deepfakes, to creating custom solutions for brand protection, your expertise is instrumental to our expansion.
• Innovate and Pioneer: Whether launching new AI capabilities or leading the charge in technologies to combat digital content manipulation, you’re guiding Ceartas into the future of digital security.
• Display Versatility: Your role spans a broad spectrum, including technical R&D and cross-functional teamwork, integrating AI seamlessly into our brand protection arsenal.

Tech Background:

• Broad NLP and AI Applications: Design and implement advanced NLP and AI models tailored for brand protection, including tasks such as sentiment analysis, content authenticity verification, and detection of copyright infringement, using state-of-the-art technologies like BERT and other transformer models.
• In Depth knowledge of Machine Learning/Deep Learning: Must have proven experience and knowledge of machine learning and deep learning tools and packages, Keras, Pytorch, to name a few!
• Data Engineering for AI: Implement data preprocessing and augmentation strategies tailored for brand protection, optimizing model training and inference, and addressing challenges unique to brand integrity, such as imbalanced datasets and detection of subtle copyright violations in multilingual content.
• Model Optimization and Deployment: Refine model performance and efficiency for real-time brand protection applications, employing methods like quantization, pruning, and knowledge distillation, to deliver scalable and cost-effective AI solutions.

Desirable (but Not Essential):

• Deployment and Scaling AI Systems: Knowledge of deploying AI models into production environments, including the use of containerization (e.g., Docker), orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes), and cloud services (AWS), with an understanding of model serving technologies and APIs for seamless integration into applications.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional analytical skills for dissecting complex problems and a history of innovative AI solutions, particularly in the context of digital copyright and brand protection.

• 4+ Years of Professional Experience: In AI development, deep learning, or closely related fields.

• Expertise and Strategic Insight: A robust foundation in AI engineering, especially within technology-focused sectors or startups.
• Analytical Thinking and Leadership: Proven ability to lead within a fast-paced tech environment, driving strategic decisions based on detailed data analysis.
• Engagement and Collaboration: Prepared to work with global teams and travel as needed.
• Location Preference: Ideally based in Berlin, Dublin, or within the EU.
