Back End Developer (Python)

Quadrical AI, a SaaS, B2B startup helps Solar Companies increase plant generation and manage their plant asset portfolios. We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Backend Developer. As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the backend of our web applications/engineering pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement efficient and scalable backend applications using Python.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Develop and maintain REST APIs.
• Build and maintain databases (like PostgreSQL, MySQL) and data models.
• Write unit tests and ensure code coverage.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues reported by customers or internal teams.
• Continuously learn and adopt new technologies and tools to improve our development processes and software quality

These will help you qualify:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field (B.tech, BCA, MCA, and others)
• Strong understanding of Python programming language and related libraries (for example – Pandas, Django, Flask)
• Familiarity with databases and SQL (for example- PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Experience with Git and version control.
• Understanding of software development principles, such as data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.

It’s a Plus if you also have:

• Exposure to AI/ML pipelines /applications.
• Familiarity with cloud computing services (e.g. AWS, Azure)
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with agile software development methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Kanban)
