SUMMARY:

As a for-profit online education company, managing all social content is integral. The decision to publish all body of work to each branded social channel drives the connection with our target audiences to promote our product offerings is the control center that ultimately drives recurring revenue and catapults our profits. The Content Publisher sits within the Brand & Creative team reporting directly to the Head of Creative Operations, with a dotted line to School Marketing and Corporate Communications. Manage social media accounts across various social platforms – K12, K12 partner schools, and select communities. This includes but is not limited to onboarding, integrations, access, audits, processes, and procedures.

  • Manage organic social media boosting for K12 Corporate channels and any school social media asks
    Required to develop and manage Social Media Policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
    Compile reports and perform analysis regarding performance and results across our social media platforms
    Assist in the development and execution of social media campaigns in coordination with multiple departments within K12
  • Responsible for all project management and support to schools on how to effectively use social media. This includes identifying training needs and providing support to stakeholders either in one-on-one scenarios or in group settings
  • Maintain close correspondence with various stakeholders within K12 to ensure our Social Media policies and standard operating procedures are adhered and refined
  • Provide appropriate and timely advice related to the techniques which help improve social media best practices making it more efficient and action oriented
  • Gives proper advice to stakeholders and leaders on the enablement of all documents, processes, and policies.
  • Handle customer service issues, resolutions, and proactively communicates issues, opportunities, and insights to the team
  • This position will also help support execution of social media strategies and content, helping to maintain community engagement for K12-owned social media channels and products/services.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities.

Required Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of social media management
  • Well versed in managing team members that are not direct reports
  • Experience with analyzing data to support strategy recommendations
  • Fluency working in partnership with paid media, SEM, SEO, web operations teams to deliver results
  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.); Web proficiency.
  • Ability to travel 10% of the time
  • Ability to clear required background check

This position is remote and open to residents of the 50 states, D.C.

Compensation & Benefits: Stride, Inc. considers a person’s education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the position’s work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value when determining a new employee’s salary level. Salaries will differ based on these factors, the position’s level and expected contribution, and the employee’s benefits elections. Offers will typically be in the bottom half of the range.

We anticipate the salary range to be $$41,865.00 to $95,368.80. Eligible employees may receive a bonus. This salary is not guaranteed, as an individual’s compensation can vary based on several factors. These factors include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions. Stride offers a robust benefits package for eligible employees that can include health benefits, retirement contributions, and paid time off.
