Job Summary:

Responsible for delivering key projects and initiatives by applying data science & engineering, analytics, and novel technologies such as artificial intelligence within the context of CB’s managed security services. Responsibilities include streamlining operations through automation, detecting threats and enhancing analysis through the use of artificial intelligence, and more. Usually determines own work priorities. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. Works with moderate guidance in own area of knowledge.

Job Description:

Core Responsibilities:

  • Taking initiative and leadership of a diverse set of projects, from requirements gathering through to completion.
  • Designing, testing, and presenting solutions to business problems, including architectural designs and software development.
  • Perform exploratory analysis of processes and systems, with an eye toward identifying opportunities for automation and improvements.
  • Being an SME (Subject Matter Expert) on matters of Data Science & Engineering, Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence.
  • Design, develop, and deploy next-generation solutions to our products and services, including Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, and more.
  • Using logic and AI/ML to create tools to help solve business needs from scratch that enhance functionality.
  • Stay current with AI trends and suggest improvements to existing systems and workflows.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Skills:

  • Has a strong knowledge of ML (Machine Learning), AI (Artificial Intelligence), LLMs (Local Language Models), and RAG (Retrieve Augmented Generation)
  • Has strong programming skills, able to transform requirements into solutions (Python & Go preferred)
  • Strong analytical skillset, capable of deriving insights from diverse datasets and presenting them.
  • Capable of owning projects through to completion, working with internal stakeholders, and communicating solutions.
  • Knowledge of Elasticsearch, Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Flink, Parquet and related technologies preferred.
  • Security experience preferred, but not required

Certifications:

  • Preferred : Bachelor’s or above in a compyter science related discipline.
