Ethics & Compliance Investigator

Raytheon’s Legal, Compliance, and Contracts (LCC) organization is seeking an experienced Ethics & Compliance Investigator to join our Global Ethics and Compliance (GEC) Investigations Team. Reporting to the Investigations Lead, the Ethics & Compliance Investigator will be responsible for leading internal investigations related to potential significant violations of Raytheon’s Code of Conduct and providing timely, professional investigative feedback to business unit stakeholders and key team members. The position also supports internal Ethics investigations in high-level or high-profile matters, including allegations of retaliation, harassment, financial fraud, and potential insider threats. The Investigator will determine the best investigative approach for each unique case, ensuring that key questions are addressed, and that relevant policies and regulatory expectations are satisfied.
This position offers potential for growth and upward movement within the organization of the LCC function.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
- Provide thorough and impartial fact-finding of alleged violations of the Company’s policies and values and support internal and external investigations
- Conduct all aspects of Ethics investigations, including creating an investigation plan, interviewing employees, reviewing documents, and drafting government disclosures or closure memos
- Conduct root cause analyses and develop, manage, and validate effective corrective action plans to correct regulatory errors and align behaviors with applicable regulations and Company policies
- Receive and research case-related questions, engage with team members to work through to solution
- Convey information about practices, policies, and standards, etc.
- Domestic travel is required about 15% of the time
Basic Qualifications:
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. issued government security clearance is required
- U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- Experience conducting, guiding, and/or managing internal investigations, including financial fraud and discrimination/harassment
- Experience in drafting investigative reports and communicating results to stakeholders

Work Location (Hybrid):
Tucson, AZ, Boston, MA, El Segundo, CA or Dulles, VA. This position is a hybrid role, and the selected applicant will work with the hiring manager to set schedule.
The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD – 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
