Generative AI Data Scientist

Position Responsibilities :

• Lead and mentor a team of data scientists specializing in Generative AI, providing technical guidance and expertise.
• Design and implement state-of-the-art Generative AI models and algorithms using OpenAI and Python.
• Collaborate with product teams to identify opportunities for applying Generative AI techniques to solve business challenges and automate processes.
• Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Generative AI, continuously improving our techniques and methodologies.
• Develop scalable and efficient codebase for deploying Generative AI models into production environments.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, gather requirements, and translate them into actionable insights and solutions.
• Analyze and interpret data to extract valuable insights and drive decision-making processes.
• Lead the evaluation and validation of Generative AI models, ensuring their accuracy, reliability, and performance meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and business development, to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
• Communicate findings, results, and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders through presentations, reports, and documentation.

Qualifications :

• US Citizenship required for this role.

• Master’s or degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• 10+ years of hands-on experience in building and deploying Generative AI models using OpenAI and Python.
• Proven track record of using predictive analytics, forecasting, modeling and data science methodologies in delivering high-impact projects on schedule and within budget.
• Nice to have knowledge in machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing techniques, with a focus on Generative AI applications.
• Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, with experience in frameworks such as TensorFlow, OpenAI, PyTorch, or Keras.
• Proficiency in data manipulation, analysis, and visualization using libraries such as pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib.
• Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases, with experience in querying, extracting, and manipulating data from databases.
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles and best practices, including version control, testing, and deployment.
• Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes, including designing and optimizing database schemas.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for exploring new ideas and technologies in Generative AI.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
