Head of AI and Analytics

Our target is to take a leading role by introducing new tailor-made products, services and sustainable transport solutions. Besides a whole new product range this will change the way we do business and interact with our customers.
As Head of AI and Analytics you will manage the team that evolves and drives the AI and Analytics development, utilizing our data foundation based on the data mesh and our data products, to enable internal efficiencies, as well as commercial realization in our Digital Services offering.
Some of your daily work will include:
- Work close to customers and business stakeholders to understand their needs, drive innovation at the same time secure daily operations of Data and AI services in production.
- Drive transformation through Vision, Mission and Strategy for the area.
- Empower, engage and develop an expanding team in data engineering, data science, analytics and MLOps.
- Work in the section management team for AI, Data and Architecture within Customer Digitalization at Scania.
- Work cross-functional in the Scania Organisation to drive your area forward.
- Balance business value generation with legal, ethical and sustainability aspects of Data and AI.
Your profile:
You have a proven leadership background and experience from leading teams in the area of AI and Data. You understand the technologies that are in use and can guide and inspire your team. You have a good knowledge in AWS, Data Mesh- and Cloud architectures. You follow closely the development within the area for AI to constantly find new opportunities to transform our Business.
You strive to improve your way of leading yourself and others. As a leader you communicate expectations and know that feedback is crucial in driving the development of both team and individual. You are a good coach for people and understand how to lead through others by building the right culture.
You have a deep understanding of the agile manifesto and what it truly stands for. You setup teams with diversity to maximize their value. You have a strong Drive in your personality and wants to make a change!
Preferably you have experience from the area of Transport Operations, Automotive or similar.
