MedTech AI Marketing Intern

The Phillips-Medisize Strategic Marketing organization is seeking a MedTech AI Marketing intern to join our team for the Summer 2024 in Hudson, WI (Twin Cities East Metro). This is a role for an entrepreneurial marketing strategist who is passionate about a potential career in medical device marketing strategy, as well as the opportunities to leverage AI to enhance our marketing strategy and insights.

In this role, you will leverage your strategic marketing knowledge and artificial intelligence capabilities to conduct and deliver medical market research to inform business decisions, market reviews (e.g., sales training), and competitive intelligence.

Koch Industries has been consistently selected as one of the top 100 Internship Programs in the U.S by WayUp. The internship opportunity will be a 12-week program running from late May to mid-August 2024.

What You Will Do:

  • Advance our strategic marketing ability to leverage artificial intelligence for medical market research to inform business decisions, market reviews, and competitive intelligence.
  • Lead one or more marketing projects using the proper tools and resources, developing team charters, putting together a project plan and communicating to business stakeholders.
  • Responsible for market research to support internal and external research needs (i.e., growth opportunities, market segmentation, market trend analysis, technology trends, competitive analysis).
  • Provide marketing support as needed for ongoing projects, gaining the voice of the customer, understanding unmet needs, and supporting the value proposition.
  • Work with a team of internal engineers to link capabilities and technologies to customer unmet needs.
  • Prepare presentations for internal stakeholders focusing on value-added initiatives.
  • Engage other functions to grow applications knowledge and capability.
  • Develop and communicate goals and objectives, together with the direct manager.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications):

  • Enrolled in a degree or alternative program. (e.g., 2-year technical college program, certificate program, upskilling program, etc.)
  • Eligible for full time employment on or before Summer 2024/2025.
  • Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.
