Sales Development Representative

Giosg helps enterprises reach their digital potential. Founded in Helsinki, Finland in 2011, we are a leading SaaS company with global operations. Our scalable and customizable B2B platform combines innovative products and services to help the world’s largest brands transform their sales, marketing, support, and customer engagement.

Our current headcount is around 70 wonderful giosgers! We’re headquartered in Helsinki, Finland and have local offices in Stockholm and Barcelona. Some of the giosgers work also in Madrid and Atlanta.

We are looking for a Sales Development Representative to join our sales team in Spain and to be part of Giosg’s growth story. As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will play a crucial role in the success of our sales team. You will be responsible for identifying and generating leads, qualifying prospects, and setting up meetings for our sales executives. This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, driven, and enjoys the challenge of connecting with potential customers and helping to drive revenue growth.

Our office in Spain is based in Barcelona, but some of our team members also work remotely in Madrid. Additionally, some of your colleagues will also be based in Finland, Sweden, UK, and the US. Yet, it is a very unified team that works together to provide Giosg’s customers the best experience, offering the most suitable solutions in the shortest time.

We’re looking for someone with great ambition. As a Sales Development Representative, you get to:

  • Generate outbound leads: identify target companies, contact potential customers using a range of outbound channels (phone, email, Linkedin) and convince them to meet with our Account Managers.
  • Deliver value to prospects and be the driving force of our new customer acquisition.
  • You work closely with the sales and marketing team to ensure seamless lead handoff and alignment on messaging and strategy.
  • Identify customer’s problems and brief our Account Managers with accurate notes in the CRM. Communicate giosg’s value proposition clearly.

To be successful at your job, you’d need to have:

  • 1+ years of experience in sales development or a similar role is seen as an advantage
  • Passion for sales and ambition to grow
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a focus on achieving (and exceeding) your targets
  • Strong phone presence and written & verbal communication skills
  • Good listening and presentation skills
  • Organised way of working.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken).
  • Ability to communicate proficiently to decision makers in large companies, and understand business drivers and challenges
  • Preferably a degree in Business, Journalism or other relevant
  • Experience in SaaS business is seen as a plus.
