Senior Applied AI Engineer

As Senior Applied AI Engineer you will be responsible for working together with the CSO to materialize the AI vision of the company into research projects that you will lead and oversee to develop advanced AI solutions and continually enhance our products and services. This role is crucial for transforming innovative ideas into viable technologies that address real-world problems using cutting-edge AI. Success in this position requires a strong combination of technical skills, creativity, a proactive approach to complex challenges, and staying up-to-date within the AI ecosystem. This position is a key part of the technology team and reports directly to the AI Lead.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable and efficient AI based solutions and advanced algorithms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering and Research) to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements and practical solutions.
• Maintain and improve existing solutions to ensure their effectiveness and efficiency in production.
• Experiment with latest AI models/solutions and benchmark them to validate it and continuously improve the system/solutions performance.
• Guide and mentor less experienced team members in best practices in machine learning.
• Stay updated with technological trends and advancements in the field to implement innovative improvements.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in machine learning or data science roles, with a proven track record in developing and implementing AI solutions.
• Software development good practices: TDD, CI/CD, Pair Review, GitFlow
• Strong experience with RAG systems and LLM providers (OpenAI, Cohere, Anthropic, etc)
• Profound knowledge of programming languages like Python and libraries such as LlamaIndex, LangChain, AutoGen, LangGraph, etc
• Strong oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders and present technical results to a non-technical audience.
• Ability to work autonomously in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
