Senior Product Manager, AI/ML

The Opportunity:
FactSet seeks a visionary product manager to play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering our next generation of AI-powered financial products. You’ll bring your deep understanding of the financial industry, the capabilities of machine learning, and a keen eye for identifying transformative business opportunities. In this collaborative environment, you’ll work closely with our world-class Machine Learning team and key stakeholders across the business. Your insights and expertise will directly influence our product roadmap, enabling us to deliver solutions that empower our clients to make better, data-informed decisions while championing Responsible AI principles.
What will you be doing?
- Contribute to Product Strategy & Vision: Provide insightful recommendations and market research to inform the strategic direction for FactSet’s AI/ML product portfolio within the financial domain. Identify potential areas where AI can create significant value for our clients, working collaboratively with product leadership, and ensuring solutions align with Responsible AI principles.
- Market Analysis & Customer Insight: Develop a profound understanding of financial market trends, competitor solutions, and the evolving needs of our target users (e.g., investment professionals, data analysts). Consider the potential ethical and societal implications of AI within our domain.
- Collaborative Innovation: Partner closely with our AI/ML engineers, data scientists, UX designers, and other stakeholders to ideate, prototype, and launch new products and features. Ensure technical feasibility, market desirability, and business viability align with Responsible AI guidelines.
- Contribute to Data-Driven Product Development: Collaborate on the product roadmap, participate in defining KPIs, and provide input on feature prioritization to maximize impact, prioritizing fairness, explainability, and mitigation of potential biases.
- Advocate for AI & RAI: Evangelize the transformative potential of AI/ML both within the company and externally. Champion Responsible AI practices, educating stakeholders on its importance and how to incorporate it into our decision-making processes.
Who you are?
- Required Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or an MBA with a strong focus on technology.
- 7 years of professional experience with a minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, with a focus on data-driven or AI-powered products a plus, but financial industry experience is highly valued.
- Proven track record of successfully bringing innovative products to market.
- Excellent understanding of machine learning concepts, capabilities, and limitations.
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills, ability to bridge technical and business domains
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills. Experience with financial data is a significant plus.
- Highly Desirable
- Experience working with agile development methodologies.
- Familiarity with NLP and/or Large Language Models and their applications.
