Software Engineer in Test

The beach is 500 meters away from our office so meetings at dusk can happen with sand between your toes.

As an SDET, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our platform through manual testing, writing test cases, and collaborating with our development team. You will be the last line of defence before our product reaches our customers, and your attention-to-detail and problem-solving skills will be critical to our success.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new and existing features.
• Manually test the platform to identify bugs, defects, and other issues.
• Document and track defects using issue tracking software.
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure defects are resolved in a timely manner.
• Participate in code and design reviews to ensure quality standards are met.
• Develop and maintain testing frameworks, tools, and automation scripts.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new testing tools and techniques.
• Provide feedback to the product and development teams to improve the quality of the platform.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in SDET experience.
• Experience with automated testing and testing pipelines, testing CI/CD.
• Good understanding of any of Python, Javascript, GoLang, and ability to write code.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Basic understanding of GenAI or large-language models.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
• Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium.
