Software Engineer Intern

SAIC is transforming complex system design processes through digital engineering. Integrating design artifacts, analytics and advanced visualization, we can speed the use of applications, accelerate design decisions, and unlock the power of advanced analytics to create the future of space system designs.

We are seeking FORWARD THINKERS to help define, visualize and communicate the value of new space systems and technologies.

As a leader in the emerging discipline of Model Based Systems Engineering, SAIC seeks to develop methods of presentation that are highly virtualized and visual that provides an interactive experience to the “audience” which could include any stakeholders up to the most senior decision makers. These goals will be achieved by combining the methods of computer gaming with high-fidelity engineering.

The Summer Intern team of game developers, computer scientists and engineers will collaborate and work closely with SAIC.

Engineers and Subject Matter Experts and take part in various projects to support these efforts. By the end of the summer program, the intern team will produce a visual demonstration of analysis relevant to the U.S. Space Force. This will be presented to senior officers and management.

Interns will support a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary effort under a contract supporting the U.S. Space Force. This contract is identifying future capabilities that the United States will require to maintain the safety and security of its national space capabilities.
