AI Engineer

The AI Engineer will play a critical role in developing and implementing cutting-edge artificial intelligence solutions for clinical decision support and operational excellence. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, the AI Engineer will contribute to the design, development, deployment and monitoring of AI models, ensuring they align with business objectives and deliver impactful results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement AI solutions to address specific business challenges.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines to support AI initiatives.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, software developers, and other stakeholders to integrate AI solutions into existing systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AI model performance and integration.
  • Document solutions and present results with team leadership and stakeholders.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in AI to recommend and implement best practices

Relationships:

The AI Engineer reports to the Principal AI Engineer and collaborate closely with data scientists, software developers and QA engineers.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Proven experience in designing, implementing, and deploying machine learning models.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java.
  • Familiarity with deep learning techniques and frameworks, such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Experience with version control tools such as Git
  • Effective communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure) preferable
  • Experience of working with medical images and/or large language models preferable

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
