About The Role:

We are looking for a Robotics Automation Lead to join the FC Operations team, reporting to the Head of Operations. Ideally you will bring a curious mindset to the role with the ability to analyse complex outcomes through your curious nature and ability to ask qualifying questions. This role will suit candidates who are still early in their technical career within the Automation space.

You will support the fulfilment centre operation by providing ongoing preventative and servicing maintenance to our Automation systems. Maximising uptime and automation performance while developing a team support are the key objectives of this role.

Our Fulfilment Centre continues to grow at a rapid rate and this role is central to unlocking the next stage of our growth journey.

In This Role You Will:

• Provide level 1 and 2 troubleshooting support for all FC automations.
• Conduct testing of solutions and identify areas for rectification.
• 1st point of contact for FC robotics incidents. Some examples include AS outage, conveyor outages as well as disruption to automated packing solutions.
• Troubleshoot FC robotic incidents and escalate to relevant internal or external teams for further investigation and remediation.
• Be the main point of contact for FC robotics automation related questions.
• Create and maintain an issue log for all automations within the FC environment.
• Own uptime of automated solutions. Ensure that relevant SOPs are maintained and schedule preventative and corrective maintenance as required.
• Develop SOPs and train relevant ops team members on stage 1 troubleshooting.

We Think You Will Need:

• 3+ years experience in Automation Servicing, preferably with experience in managing a small of technicians,
• High level of analysis and problem solving skills,
• Adaptable and hands on approach,
• High level of aptitude and curiosity.
