Sales Engineer

About The Role
What we are looking for:
As a Sales Engineer, you’ll drive revenue growth by partnering with Account Executives, Customer Success, and other cross-functional stakeholders to qualify deals, design solutions, and ensure technical success with our products. You will perform technical assessments, create tailored solutions, resolve technical challenges, implement proofs-of-concepts, and develop content to empower our sales team and enable our customers.
You will act as a technical expert and trusted advisor, clearly communicating complex concepts to convey the value of our AI governance software to various stakeholders. Your efforts will promote the adoption of Responsible AI, ensuring organizations can harness artificial intelligence effectively while maintaining trust and compliance with applicable regulations and guidelines.

- You have a strong curiosity and a robust understanding of technology applications in solving diverse problems
- You have 3-5 years of experience in technical pre-sales, preferably in a high-growth startup environment
- You have Responsible AI expertise
- You are willing to travel for client engagements
- You are known for your clear communication skills, and ability to discuss complex technical issues in an understandable way
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment and have an aptitude for creating new processes to improve sales effectiveness
Expectations:
- Translate client needs into technical solutions aligned with Responsible AI principles
- Conduct discovery sessions to understand technical and business needs of prospects
- Develop and deliver compelling product demonstrations and lead 2 week product trials/POCs
- Identify and manage gaps between prospects’ needs and product capabilities
- Oversee the technical aspects of the sales cycle to ensure closure
- Represent the company at industry events to enhance our sales pipeline
Compensation:
The expected base salary range for this position is $130,000 – $170,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the specified location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
Location & Remote Culture:
We are a fully distributed company and are comfortable hiring in any location (location-specific legal requirements permitting). While this is a remote role and we’re a fully distributed team, we routinely meet up in-person. We support individual members to coordinate in-person coworking whenever possible, and organize company-wide offsites multiple times a year.
