Senior AI Researcher
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior AI Researcher f/m/d to join our cutting-edge Research and Development team.
This role focuses on building intelligent search and personalized recommendation systems using generative models, specifically Vision-and-Language Models (VLMs). The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of advanced VLM architectures and a proven track record in optimizing and deploying these models at scale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop state-of-the-art VLMs for intelligent search and personalized recommendation systems, including image and video understanding and generation.
- Innovate and research optimal model architectures for enhancing performance and scalability.
- Thoroughly test and evaluate candidate models to ensure efficacy and efficiency.
- Containerize the selected models for scalable deployment across various platforms.
- Work on reducing latency and enhancing the speed of generative VLMs without compromising on performance.
- Prepare and manage real-world datasets for the training and evaluation of models.
- Conduct model training, evaluation, and benchmarking to maintain high standards of accuracy and reliability.
- Log results and derive actionable insights to continuously improve model training and performance.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry and technology trends to incorporate into model development.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Masters or PhD in AI, Computer Science, or a related field from a top-tier institute.
- Extensive experience in VLM architectures including Vision Transformers, SAM, Long context optimization, and Diffusion models.
- Strong understanding of various model architectures like Unet, Diff-VIT, and LLava.
- Proficiency in low-latency and scalable deployment of VLMs.
- Expertise in special architectural modifications such as patch tokenization, Rope, and grouped attention.
- Familiarity with interpretable AI and sample-efficient training techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong analytical skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.

- Publications in relevant AI fields or contributions to open-source projects.
