WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:

  • Estimated Salary: $90,000 – $110,000, plus annual bonus opportunity.
  • Benefits and Perks, 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match.
  • Regular associates working 40 hours a week can earn up to 15 days of vacation each year.
  • Regular associates receive 11 paid holidays in 2024, which includes 2 floating holidays that are added to your prorated personal time to be used at your discretion.
  • Regular associates are provided sick leave through the use of personal time. Associates working 40 hours a week can receive up to 40 hours of personal time in 2024, which is prorated based on the start date. Additionally you will receive two floating holidays in 2024 by way of personal time that may be used at your discretion.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Develop, implement, and facilitate an artificial intelligence governance framework while ensuring data integrity, security, compliance with regulatory standards, and responsible use of AI technologies.

     

  • Ensure Enterprise policies, standards, and best-practices regarding data management, data governance and AI (artificial intelligence) governance are followed throughout the development of new data, and maintenance of existing data.
  • Develop strategies and publish policies or standards to ensure data consistency, accuracy, timeliness, validity and completeness, enable data knowledge “self-service”, and ensure sensitive data is properly identified and protected.
  • Collaborate and partner with business areas to empower everyone in the organization to find, understand, and govern data efficiently and effectively. Remains abreast of new laws, regulations, and best practices impacting data governance, data management, and artificial intelligence.
  • Manage and monitor data quality issues to timely remediation, including assessing risk and reporting findings and/or escalating unresolved data quality issues as appropriate.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • 3-5 years of experience in data governance including experience with one or more of the following: data management; data governance, including data privacy, data quality and metadata management; and/or information systems or risk/audit compliance.
  • Demonstrated strategic planning and leadership skills; ability to motivate and influence at all levels across the organization to comply with regulatory requirements and Enterprise policies and standards.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and negotiating skills. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, employees and business partners.
  • Proven capacity in strategic planning and leadership, adept at motivating and influencing stakeholders across all organizational levels to ensure compliance with regulatory mandates and enterprise policies and standards.
  • Strong, strategic planning and organizational skills related to project management; self-motivated, adaptable, team focused and detail oriented.
  • You promote a culture of diversity and inclusion, value different ideas and opinions, and listen courageously, remaining curious in all that you do.
  • Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.

PREFERRED:

  • Certified Data Management Professional certification.
  • Familiarity with federal, state and industry privacy laws and regulations related to the insurance and/or financial service field preferred.
  • Knowledge of individual life, health products, group products, securities, banking products and related services preferred.
