To realise our vision we need an AI Solutions Engineer who is forward-thinking and will be responsible for the seamless deployment of AI tools and solutions within our operational environment.

This role reports directly to the Head of Data Science and GenAI Delivery, where you will play a pivotal role in implementing, integrating, and optimising AI solutions to drive operational excellence.

What we’re looking for:

The main responsibilities of this role include:

  • Lead the implementation of AI and ML tools and solutions, ensuring they are customised to fit within our existing systems and processes
  • Seamlessly integrate AI and ML solutions into our core operational systems to enhance performance and efficiency
  • Continuously optimise AI implementations/ML systems to meet performance benchmarks and business needs
  • Address and resolve issues related to AI and ML implementations, minimizing disruption to business operations
  • Collaborate closely with AI Innovation Engineers and Data Scientists to understand new tools and strategies and adapt them for operational use
  • Solve complex problems with multilayered data sets, preprocess data for ML and GenAI based frameworks
  • Run machine learning tests and experiments as needed
  • Perform BAU maintenance of productionised ML and AI solutions
  • Retrain and monitor machine learning and AI systems and models as needed
  • Operationalise feedback loop for iterative model improvements

What you already have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or relevant experience demonstrating the management and support of AI/ML infrastructure and projects
  • Familiarity and strong interest in generative AI
  • Proven experience as a software or ML engineer
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Innovative mind with a passion for continuous learning

Nice to have:

  • Experience with working with GenAI frameworks
  • 2+ years of hands on experience in MLOps
  • Deep knowledge of ML and GenAI lifecycles
